Forfulgt er en rystende beretning om at leve et liv i evig frygt. Gennem datterens knivskarpe erindringer forstår vi, hvor høj en pris, barnet måtte betale; også længe efter, at hun var blevet voksen. Det er også en historie om kærlighed, der er tæt på at blive til had - og om den svære kunst at tilgive, så man endelig kan leve som et frit menneske.

I'm reading this at work, so I am not that far in, but so far it's a good book. I've never read "Not without my daughter", only seen the movie and I thought that this might just be the same story all over again. However this is clearly from the eyes of the child. I feel like Mathob, eventhough she's grown up, has done a good job going down memorylane and recalling feelings and thoughts she had as a child.
